I’ve been on vacation so long that I barely believe that work exists…So I’m supposed to get up in a few hours, huh? Yeah…sure…that’s a good one…
All right, fine. To ensure that I make it to that place on time tomorrow, I’m going to make sure the alarm is set. And I will get dressed now and sleep in my clothes so I have no excuse. I’m doubting that I’m going to get a good night’s sleep anyway, given that I know I have to go there. I’m sure I can get a nap in sometime during those 10 hours…
I have the pepper spray my sister gave me for Christmas, but it seems so complicated…the instructional diagrams were poor. I’ll give it another look after I get dressed. I wonder if pepper spray works in the rain… anyone want to be a guinea pig?
Well tonight is full of theme songs for me. Been listening to Fleetwood Mac, specifically the Stevie Nicks songs. Maybe it’s the rain and the thunder, but “Dreams” seems fitting for tonight, despite the fact that I won’t be having any due to insomnia. Here’s to insomnia and lyrics!
DREAMS – Fleetwood Mac
Written by stevie nicks.
Now here you go again
You say you want your freedom
Well who am I to keep you down
Its only right that you should
Play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound
Of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat.. drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost…
And what you had…
And what you lostThunder only happens when its raining
Players only love you when they’re playing
Say… women… they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean… you’ll knowNow here I go again, I see the crystal visions
I keep my visions to myself
Its only me
Who wants to wrap around your dreams and…
Have you any dreams you’d like to sell?
Dreams of loneliness…
Like a heartbeat… drives you mad…
In the stillness of remembering what you had…
And what you lost…
And what you had…
And what you lostThunder only happens when its raining
Players only love you when they’re playing
Say… women… they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean… you’ll know
