I don’t know if I posted this strange connection yet…
In the SF Bay Area I grew up near a huge Filipino community in Daly City. My family recently moved near a city with another big Filipino community and that is Union City.
Down here in San Diego, the Filipinos are in National City. It’s important to note that both Union City and National City both have Filipino supermarkets called Seafood City (part of the same chain).
Later, my sister tells me that there are also lots of Filipinos in Jersey City.
Yeah. Astounding…
So are there any other “cities” that I missed?

Vallejo?
Stockton. =P
In LA, the Filipinos are more dispersed because LA is so widespread. But Panorama City (in the Valley) has a Goldilocks, Jollibee, Kalesa Grill, Pinoy Pinay and Red Ribbon Bakery. There’s also a Seafood City and Island Pacific Market in Panorama City. So, I guess it’s safe to say there are a lot of Filipinos who live there.
Nita, ano ang kain mo?
